Shepherd's Flame is a deeper, fee based pathway of stewardship, for those who are ready for supported growth and a more protected space to be formed in. Places here are genuinely limited, not to exclude, but because real care needs room to breathe. This is a member pathway led by trusted people. It is not a ladder into team leadership, simply a place where those entrusted with more are helped to steward it well.
What's included
- Leader-led stewardship formation | guided by The Lantern Team or an approved augmented team
- Deeper guidance and reflection | accompaniment that goes further than the earlier pathways
- A restricted, protected space | small, limited-capacity, and genuinely confidential
- Pathway support and accompaniment | you are not left to steward alone
How this pathway works
Because Shepherd's Flame is a restricted, fee based pathway, the path in looks a little different to the others:
- Interest or invitation. You may be personally invited, or you may express interest yourself
- Learn more. We'll explain clearly that this is a restricted-capacity, fee based pathway, led by The Lantern Team
- Discernment and fit. A short form or conversation helps us both understand whether now is the right season
- A place offered. If suitable, a place is confirmed, sponsored, discounted, or complimentary options may also be available
- Enrolment and payment. Payment is only requested once your place has been confirmed, never before
- A warm welcome. You'll receive proper orientation and formation as you begin
- Supported stewardship. You'll join leader-led sessions, receive guidance, and be accompanied properly
- Review and next steps. Together we'll reflect on growth and discern what comes next, with the freedom to pause or step back at any time, without losing your place in the wider Lantern community
