The Lantern is built as a journey rather than a ladder, a series of gentle invitations rather than a set of hoops to jump through. Wherever you are today, whatever stage of faith or life you find yourself in, there's a place here for you to begin, and no obligation to go any further than feels right. Some people will stay by the fire for a season. Others will want to walk further in. Both are welcome.

For everyone who wants to walk a steady, grace-filled rhythm with Jesus. Embers is about small, sustainable practices, not grand gestures, the kind of quiet consistency that changes a life over time.

- Accessible teaching and tools for reflection and prayer
- Encouragement, reminders and a sense of belonging to something bigger
Flame
"We'll help you grow."
Flame is where formation deepens. It's the natural next step for anyone who has found their rhythm in Embers and is ready to grow further in wisdom, skill and spiritual depth, through richer teaching and more guided reflection.
What's included:
- Deeper course content and formation resources
- Guided reflection with more personal engagement
- Live or recorded sessions, care taken with anything shared
Lantern
"Let's do life together."
Lantern is the pathway of belonging. It forms people in community, shared rhythms and mutual care. This is where The Lantern truly becomes a "we," not just a resource you draw from, but a community you belong to and are known within.
What's included:
- Groups, gatherings, prayer and shared rhythms
- A place to give and receive support
- Serving opportunities as you're ready for them
Lantern-Bearer
"Let's be lights together."
The final step isn't really the end of the journey, it's the beginning of carrying the Light for others. Lantern-Bearer is for those who sense a call to serve, mentor and multiply what they've received, walking alongside others as they in turn find their place on the path.
What's included:
- Mentoring, coaching and formation for those ready to lead
- Opportunities to serve, invite and equip others
- A community of fellow Lantern-Bearers walking the same call
Shepherd's Flame
"Let's help others see Christ."
Shepherd's Flame is a deeper, fee-based pathway of stewardship, for those who are ready for supported growth in leadership and calling. Because places are limited and the support offered is more intensive, this pathway is led personally by The Lantern Team or an approved augmented team.
What's included:
- Leader-led cohort gatherings and guided formation
- Personal mentoring and accompaniment
- A protected, limited-capacity space for deeper stewardship
